Surviving the test of time, this gallery mixes the modern and the contemporary in architecturally challenging space. Be prepared to be transported into a visual discourse and delve into true art history with out the annoying guide. Reminding you how special the work is. Explore at your own pace. Enjoy
Gorgeous gallery with amazing pieces. Also has a bathroom!
I have very fond memories of this gallery and the programs that attended the numerous exhibitions in the Marlborough Galleries. As a child growing up in West London my mother knew the secretary for the gallery and the programs became picture books for me and would stimulate my senses into becoming a creative artist myself. I can’t begin to think about the cultural amount of stimulus I and my family has had from these beloved galleries. A very fine British institution indeed.
Marlborough Fine Art was founded in London in 1946 by Frank Lloyd and Harry Fischer. In 1963, a gallery was opened as Marlborough-Gerson in Manhattan, New York, on Madison Avenue and 57th Street, which later relocated in 1971 to its present location, 40 West 57th Street.
Nice gallery space. The Victor Pasmore show that I visited shows some interesting works from the second half of the 20th century.
Amazing selection of Art! Fortunate enough to have them as a client and so every meeting is a treat!
Free gallery with changing exhibitions. Laid out well with consistently high quality art
The exhibition at Marlborough enhanced my appreciation of the RA's Summer Exhibition, around the corner, that day
Very spacious with a variety of amazing artworks
I love this gallery. One of my favourite galleries in London.
