We stopped off briefly here after a day kayaking and decided to have a desert and drinks before heading back home. Had to be one of the best deserts I've had in a long time. When the weather's nice out, it's lovely sitting by the quay eating and drinking. Highly recommend the Prospect Inn.

This is place that relies on it location a little bit. But the place is clean, the beer fresh and food reasonably priced and good quality. It is a nice place to visit any time of year as you can sit and watch passers buy on the quay.

Just stopped in for a quick beer, I was greeted as I walked to the bar by a friendly face, was told about and let sample a beer, that was lovely. Tasted like they clean their lines regularly. Cozy bar area. And good spacious seating outside, alongside the river (although building works were going on) quick natter with a friendly chef who obliged me a lighter when I asked. Will be coming back to try some food. That is stated to be locally sourced proper pub grub.

We attend the Prospect regularly and find on every visit all the staff are friendly, polite, helpful and courteous. The beer is good and food is excellent served all day. Roy
