The Malt House is in a great old building, with good looking and family friendly interiors. The staff are all nice, and the self service salad bar has a good range of items (although when we were there, they were running low on a few items and there were no rolls). Both meals got were good, of a nice portion size and good quality food. As a previous review mentioned, the car park is a pay and display, with one half of the parking ticket for the parking refund.

Usually quite when we visit, usual harvest setup but in a nice historical building. Views over the river and the swans are nice. Pay and display carpark with refund available if you take the correct half of the ticket in if not you can go back for it if you want.

Me and my partner came in Tuesday evening for food and I must say it was gorgeous! Meals were cooked perfectly and we definitely left feeling full and happy. We were served by both Claire and Jennete throughout the evening, who we thought were a credit to the team. We look forward to coming back

Pretty much the same as every other Harvester. Always enjoy a salad buffet. Had the battered halloumi and chips - was good. The baby changing facilities are good too.

Just had “lunch” here today (27/01/18) with my husband, 2 year old, and 10 month old. It took an hour from being seated to getting our food. I asked the waitress about the kids’ meals and was responsed to curtly! My burger was dry and over cooked. The chips were cold. My husband’s onions rings were under cooked. I ate half the burger as by this time I was hungry and I couldn’t wait for a new burger as both kids had been sat for over an hour and were getting tired. I complained at the time to the waitress about the wait and the food quality of the food. She said she’d speak with the manager. She said we’d get 50% off our food bill but when we got the bill it was 50% off the burger only. By this time my 10 month old was over tired and we had to get both kids in the car/home for naps. So what we thought would be a nice lunch out turned into a long wait for food, horrible food, and overtired kids.
