A delightfully quaint British pub off a beaten walking track down from Leith Hill Tower. With its immediately welcoming red-phone-box charm, The King's Head was a perfectly-timed oasis for us as our legs grew tired of descending the hill. We hoped to grab some food but they weren't serving when we arrived so we settled for a drink and a game of cards instead. Lots of drinks on offer, including offerings lots from local breweries. The pub even had three of it's own beers on sale, straight from the microbrewery behind the pub. This is the sort of pub that you wish your local was - popular, thriving and supporting the local community.

Beautifully presented room, great location and friendly, helpful staff. Even allowed me to store my bike securely inside. Nice pub with an open fire and a good range of beers (though I only had chance for a half).

When for a country drive. Stumbled across this inn and wow. Staff are amazing and helpful. Very chatty too so won't be board on your own :-) The inn itself is very nice but mainly for eating I would say but menu looks amazing. I am booking a meal out for my partner and I for December here as everythi g is just amazing. X

Great pub with beer from its own micro brewery. They were too busy for us to eat there this time, we'll be back. Cracking little shop attached too selling local food.
