I booked a table for 16 people aged 3 - 90, to celebrated by daughters 27th, in the room at the opposite end of the restaurant (bar area) so we had the whole space to ourselves. Although a busy evening we had excellent service from the very helpful / friendly waitresses and barman. They even joined in with the family to sing 'Happy Birthday'. My fish and chips was lovely. Catered for all tastes / ages. Good atmosphere.

Very good food. Fairly expensive. Mainly a restaurant, and fairly formal, but there is a small pub area too. Friendly staff.

We booked a table for 15 on a Monday evening. Unfortunately, despite the quiet evening in the restaurant, the food arrived cold and the service wasn’t managing the orders in a quick and proactive manner. Also, the room we were sat in was really cold - at the end of dinner most of us were wearing coats.

Amazing waitress, she couldn't do enough to help me and my dietary needs. Fabulous vegan menu. Good beautifully presented

New landlord seems just right. Looking forward to trying his new Spring menu. Good beer and good service. Nice ambiance.
