My wife and I had a wonderful time staying with this family. The room was so nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was plentiful. Emma and Rae are great hosts and they were very helpful. We are coming back for sure! Looking forward to that!Rooms: 5/5
What an amazing place to have a break in the countryside.. the setting was amazing. Rooms very clean and comfortable.. hostess was so welcoming and friendly we didn't want to leave.. we would 100% recommend and come back ourselves again.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed last week in the Jane Austen suite. Eveything was super, spotlessly clean and we felt very reassured by the level of cleanliness. Beautiful, fresh bedding and pretty furniture. The house and grounds are quintessentially English, and peacefulness abounds.
We wanted a relaxing place to spend a couple of nights, and that is exactly what we got....lovely house, beautifully furnished and excellent hosts..full English breakfast would have been nice, but covid put a stop to that...maybe next time Rooms: 5/5
We have just come back from a stay in Blackbook House Jane Austen suite. I don't normally write reviews, but the trip was our first time away after months of lockdown and it was quite wonderful! We felt very safe in the capable hands of host Emma and everything was so very clean we had nothing to worry about at all. Tranquil room, comfy bed and the best of English breakfasts. Can't wait for the next trip.

Quaint b+b, lovely setting, well cared for by the owners. Double bed rather than king was only slight negative
