The Inn on the Green has recently changed ownership, and from all accounts, it was a change the beautifully quaint village of Ockley needed..!!! 
I can personally attest to how great the new owners are, as my Mother, Sister and I stayed at the Inn on the Green for 3 weeks, and it was the best 3 weeks I've had in my life!!!
The owners, the multi-talented Lauren and his gorgeous wife Julie, along with their staff, will make you feel a part of the family as soon as you walk through the door!
Look this place up, have a pint of the local brew (Razor Back is a favourite!) or stay for a bloody great feed, you will not be disappointed..!!!
The kids have a great place to play out the back, and the place is as pet friendly as any place could be!

Having booked 3 rooms for an overnight stay on 30th September we were concerned when we read some poor reviews. However,while the rooms need updating we found them very clean.Julie and her staff were welcoming and efficient. We had dinner last evening and a full English breakfast this morning and all the food was delicious and well served. The only minor criticism was the coffee was not of the best quality which is a pity and also the toast at breakfast needed to be served with side plates.                                                                                                                        We wish Julie and her partner the best of luck with their plans for the eventual refurbishment of the pub and rooms. We will be interested to return sometime in the future to see the transformation  of what could be a gem in a lovely situation.
