Lovely meal from start to finish. Very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive and informative especially for someone like me who has dietary requirements nothing was any trouble at all. The food was delicious cod cheeks and hummus, lamb mains and pistachio soufflé and for once I could actually have a pudding! Definitely go back again!
Wonderful food and experience. Everything is made on site and is amazing. The service was so good. We can't wait to come back. Especially loved the homemade bread, olives, soufflé, venison carpaccio, octopus... Thanks so much to Towers Gym for the gift and the introduction
Service was brilliant, very quick and the right level of attentiveness. Extremely lovely and polite staff. It was clean and the presentation of the table and food was beautiful. The food was delicious. My only drawback was the menu which was unnecessarily complicated.
Came to celebrate a birthday. Inside I very well presented and the staff are very attentive. I found the menu far too complicated and the food ok. The pudding apple pie was lovely.
It certainly sits on the very high end of what there is on offer in North Bedfordshire but it isn’t without good reason. The lunch options and quality is exquisite and the service is impeccable, they really do want to make sure you’re well looked after!Recommended dishesRoasted Duck Breast
Incredibly popular restaurant in the heart of the countryside. This is fine dining. Definitely Michelin quality. Impeccable service. Beautiful setting. Booking essential. Covers for around 50+ guests. Big car park. We drove up from Hertfordshire about 45 minutes for a celebratory meal. Because this place tops most restaurants around. A hidden gem.
Very good for a special occasion, food feels like you can't get it anywhere else and has been crafted by top chefs. My parents have been coming here many years off and on and it never fails to deliver unique food with service that really looks after you. In this instance, you do get what you pay for. Parking: Ample parking Wheelchair accessibility: Having the front re done which will allow easier access.
My wife and I were highly recommend to try this place by a family member. We were not disappointed. We visted on Thusday at 7:15 and it lived up to expectations. Excellent experience all round. Nice to find a place offering attentive but not intrusive service. Great menu choices and all courses were very good. Not cheap but if you want to enjoy high standards you have found the right place. We will definitely be going back.
Great service; incredibly friendly staff. Good range of dishes on the menu including some well thought out & super tasty vegetarian options they adapted a starter to be a veggie option too! The atmosphere and pub is beautiful.
We've been here 3 times for lunch, on each occasion sitting in the Oak Room. Every time, the staff have been very welcoming and helpful and the imaginative menu has tempted us to delicious dishes on every visit. Very reasonably priced for the excellent experience. Update October 2022: All the above. Food: 5/5
