We’ve been debating whether this is our favourite hotel.  The tv is postage stamp sized and the bath gel is impossible to extract. That’s  the negative bit. So many positives beyond the travel brochure views. The staff are friendly, great location, ample parking, nice bar, homemade cakes for well-earned afternoon snacks, family run (and it shows) without being claustrophobic, and....that restaurant! Wow! We’re part way through our first stay and whether or not it is #1, we’re working out when we can come back!

Imaginative menu, locally sourced seafood, delicious. Be sure to book in advance for meals. Outstanding views.

Had a coffee at the Pier house Hotel. It has a great atmosphere, staff were pleasant and helpful. Location is superb- a nice drive to get to the hotel with a great view of castle stalker.
