Food is generally good pub grub. I had nut roast which was good and came with cooked veg. The veg was generally good but the cauliflower was very undercooked. Plum tart with custard was very tasty. Service was very slow. We were not greeted on arrival to our booked table. No one gave us menus so I fetched them myself. It took 150 minutes from arrival to paying the bill for just 2 courses. The staff were very friendly but there simply weren't enough of them.

Ended up here on Sunday by chance just driving around. Everything was really tasty and you could tell was homemade. The fried chicken in the mixed platter was really crunchy, soup was delicious, lamb roast come with a great selection of veggie, and the lemon meringue cake was light and perfect! It really made our day! Friendly as well! I'll bring my parents next time they are in town.

Friendly and helpful staffs on top of delicious large portion of foods serving! What can you complaint more?

A very welcoming 'gastropub', which also has accommodation and 'beer garden', and delightful and helpful staff.

Staff were polite and service was quite quick but the food was only ok. I had the lasagne which was well presented with 2 bits of garlic bread and a side salad, but the lasagne itself tasted too sweet, like it was made with sauce from a jar. The Nachos had the same problem, the tomato salsa was too sweet. My wife had a pie for main in which the meat was tasty but the suet a bit too stodgy.
