"The Parrot is located in the beautiful village of Forest Green, set deep in the Surrey Hills. It's easily found once you have joined the Ockley Rd B2127. The pub sits proudly on the Green overlooking the cricket ground, the perfect position to fulfil its natural right as the heart of the local community. Chris and the team are on hand to welcome you to their beautiful pub, where you can enjoy freshly cooked dishes accompanied by a fine array of local ale or many more other tipple choices!."

Lovely meal, especially the chocolate tart with boozy cherries and cherry sorbet- heaven! Reasonably priced too. Service great, and a lovely environment 10/10Food: 5/5
Food was absolutly bloody delicoius. Have not had a mouthwatering piece of marinated beef with a salad in a long time! Thank you! Also the ambiente was nicely done. Can be hard to get a place as a "Walk-In", but it should be possible to get a seat at the bar.
Delicious food went for a Sunday roast and wasn't disappointed. Roast lamb was lovely and we followed up with mini pudding and coffees option to finish. Pre booked our table glad we did as clearly very popular and dogs made very welcome biscuits on the bar and water bowls available. Will definitely be visiting again. We sat inside but I spotted there's a good amount of outdoor seating as well. There was blankets and hot water bottles which seemed a nice touch.
I'd highly recommend this village pub. Beautifully decorated, lovely staff, plus it has an excellent menu - without feeling like it's a restaurant first and pub second. Dog and child friendly too. Always busy, even on a weekday and I can see why!
Nice place to go - especially if your one a motorbike ride and up for a break since you can sit outside and park the bike right beside with the sun in your face in the afternoon / evening. The food was really good and the ambiance of a typical English pub / restaurant.
Lovely pub, and great food as always. Me and my partner had fish and chips and it was fresh and crispy just like it should be. The decor in here is beautiful and a real pleasure to have dinner surrounded by. We went in at lunch time as was seated immediately the staff were friendly and attentive. Have been a few times to the parrot and will definitely be returning Returned again today and yet again was lovely, my partner had chicken milanese and I had fish and chips which was lovely xx
Amazing food and a beautiful place to go with family, food was delicious only down side was my partner sat on the benches outside and got chewing gum on his shorts which didnt come off. Beware of the chewing gum!Food: 5/5
We visited the Parrot for three days in a row whilst on holiday in the area. It's huge! Has a really nice and classy interior fancy loos!, covered outdoor seating and then more relaxed picnic benches both at the front and the back. They have a full and varied gluten free menu, with lots of the standard mains being gf. I had fish and chips and a sticky toffee pudding, both lovely. If we are back in the area again I'll definitely be making a return trip!
Lovely countryside setting. Food was delicious. If busy expect a bit of a delay if you're a bigger party. Would have preferred a better food selectionbut that's not a pub issue that's just my personal preference Parking: Went for an early lunch. No issues with parking
Absolutely adore this gorgeous country pub! Has the perfect mix of traditional and modern elements, is cozy and has amazing staff. We didn't have a full meal, but the snacks and soup we had was delicious! We will definitely be back.
