Very nice.. we had the Christmas set menu.. ham hock and pea terrine. turkey dinner and a cheese board and mince pies.. all very good quality and generous portions.. we will definitely be visiting in the new..

What a lovely pub! Spent a lovely evening here with our friends on the terrace. We all remarked how tasty the food was, great selection of lagers, beers and cocktails. Staff are absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, never had to use the qr code to order as they appeared just as we wanted to order more drinks. Will certainly return. Highly recommended.

Lovely roast, was unsure about the rotating meats on the roast, but seems to be 1 red 1 white meat, and the lamb was lovely. Great portions as well. Good beer selection as well, lagers, craft, and nice to see local ales on the taps rather than the usual chain stuff. Best of all, not owned by Greene King.

I had Christmas Dinner at that pub and it was amazing! The staff are very friendly and nice and the food was delicious and the dessert I had was wonderful! I had the Belgian Chocolate Cheesecake. The next time I go I hope they will have some as it was the best cake I ever ate!

I’m really impressed with the quality of food, the kindness and professionalism of the staff, today they served 17 people in our party alongside a busy Sunday lunch service. Exceptionally friendly pub

What more could you wish for the day after night before  Fabulous roast, loaded with melt in your mouth beef, spuds, a mountain of veg, topped off with a delicious yorkie…….boootiful

Had an event tonight in the lounge bar, the space was great and the separation from normal customers was great. Highly disappointed with the service from the male member of bar staff who was on that night, his service was absolutely appalling! He was so rude the entire night and it was upsetting my guests and some of my guests actually left the event! I am very disappointed in this. I am very embarrassed this has happened to me and I will not return to this pub again which is very disappointing as it was my local!

Just moved into the area and was delighted to eat and drink at this tastefully decorated sports bar with a lovely garden. The staff ate so friendly and accommodating and the food is incredibly good value for great food

First time visiting - amazing food, portion sizes & service. I would recommend their burgers! I will be back to try the others  - thank you so much :
