The food in here is usually lovely. Big portions too. We did visit a few weeks ago a party of 12 of us and out of 12 dinners 1 dinner (the last to come out) was cold, and 1 steak was far to chewy and stringy to eat. But to be fair the manager sorted this swiftly with a decent refund and could not apologise enough. We have eaten here regularly over the past 8 weeks and this is the only negative I have to say. You really can't go wrong for the amount of food for the price, and if you do have problems the management are happy to help. All in all a good place to grab a bite to eat.

Cheap and cheerful. The staff are friendly and they have a good selection of beers, ciders and ales, the food is cheap enough and there's plenty of it. The problem, is the wait. Now, you don't wait too long for your food and that's not the problem, the problem is that some of it is clearly ready too quickly and sits there getting cold. We ordered three adult meals and five kids meals and they covered the whole range of temperatures. The food was good, but this is not the sixth, seventh or even eighth time this has happened and I'm sure will do so again.

We booked for Mothers Day. We needed somewhere with a kids menu that wasn't ott & The Mulberry fits the bill. Having the play area in the garden is a bonus where there is lots of seating and some out the front. Donna was an amazing Manager/Host, she was cool & calm. The staff were all courteous & friendly each with a smile. The food was really good, on time, hot & tasty, that said one of the steaks ordered was too chewy, when mentioned to Donna without hesitation a replacement was ordered along with an unexpected refund. The cheesecake I ordered was too much for little me so allowed my hubby to share!

Lovely local pub with good food, that knows how to make a good g&t. They also have some great bands on at weekends and show sports in a separate bar too. Nice play area and outside space. Something for everyone!
