Very welcoming place with great food. Have the oysters, delicate and sweet. The cheesecake light and creamy. Highly recommended.

Had to go to Ellenabeich before we could take the ferry across to Easdale island. An easy stroll around looking at the quarries before the return ferry. (£2.10 return per adult.) Then lunch at the Oyster bar, fabulous ale and delicious steak and ale pie.

This was the restaurant where I use to go when I was free after serving my private clients from Austria as a Private chef in August 2017 . The staff is very friendly , the place all around is nice and unique , and their food is fresh and tasty . Nothing fancy but you certainly can stop here for dinner !! Thank you !!!

The staff were friendly and the views incredible but I had a disappointing meal – my haddock and chips tasted like frozen food straight out of a packet, which is unforgivable for a region renowned for its seafood, though my wife's salmon dish was better. Also, the Oyster brewery is gone and the beer selection was unexceptional: no dark beers except Guinness. The Puffer Bar across the water on Easdale Island, which is lovely, is recommended for dinner, though make sure to book in advance.
