Recently l visited here and spent a few hours exploring this garden. I found the gardens to be very relaxing, and it was a great place to escape from the city! The plants/flowers throughout the garden were beautiful and very interesting. I would recommend a trip here.
Definitely worth a visit. Was a quiet Thursday so almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. The team are managing the CV19 restrictions well with one way systems and there is plenty of space to move about. Interesting to see plants grouped into family types. Great way to spend a few hours.
Peaceful, quiet space in the city. I love to sit by the fountain. Also, the glass houses are fascinating. If you live in or near Oxford it's cheaper to buy an annual pass if you intend to visit more than five times a year. Check out the website to discover what plants you can expect to see during the various seasons.
Booked on line a time slot to visit the Garden. Maybe it is in Autumn, the plants are at the late ages. Maybe should visit it in the summer.
What a treat, an oasis in the city centre. Tranquil and beautiful. You can easily spend there 45-60 minutes, just looking at the plants, but can have a picnic by the river and really take it in
A small but very beautiful botanical gardens. Set next to the River Cherwell it is a pleasure to walk around and admire all the amazing plants. Especially so in summer when all the flowers are in full bloom. A delight
