It's was a fun time at the prison. It is a guided tour around the attraction. Katie are tour guide was very insightful and made the tour fun and interactive for the group.
Price is a bit high but the tour's fun especially if you have a nice guide. The lady who gave us a tour was called Jess and she has some pretty grisly and spooky stories of the place explaining it's history in store for you.
Interesting guided tour. Took about an hour. You can wander freely afterwards. Our guide ‘Helena’ was great! Parking in Oxford is never easy so we booked the earliest slot at 10am and managed to park at a nearby car park.
Great tour - really appreciated the reduced number of people in the tour and our guide Natalia was very knowledgeable! For what we could see and the duration of the tour, I found the price a bit expensive especially when compared to other locations.
50 minute guided tour with a chance explore afterwards. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable about the history. You can climb the stairs of the tower for an amazing view, learn about the prison and how it was run as one up until 1996. Part of it now has been converted into a hotel.
Really fun informative tour. On a good day great views from the tower.
The castle itself is small, and very turistic. But we enjoyed our visit. Nice view from the top after climbing 100 steps! Our guide was Natalie and she made our visit very interesting and fun.
