A beautiful park with a lot of content. On Saturday's there are organized 2 mile races marked running path. Love part for children to play. In the lake always you can find swans and ducks.
Spent a couple of hours visiting the play parks, wandering the woods saw wild rabbits, and seeing birds and reptiles in the jungle room/butterfly garden. Only negative was the toilets were very busy unisex ones and were not the cleanest I've ever seen
Would be 5* but toilets were disgusting, no hand wash and the water fountain was off. Fantastic park otherwise. Shame the miniature train wasnt running also. My son was guttted. Sand pit is awesome!
Very nice and pleasant. Perfect to have a day out/ picnic with friends and family. It’s also good to sit alone, read a book near the lake.
This park is stunning and such a lovely park to Oxford. Once you get past the parking. We parked on the West car park and it was a little full. The park has the best miniature train railway. Beautifully done and all the kids and adults like me adored it. £1.25 per ride is amazing or 10 rides for £10. Cafe is in the centre and is greatoy needed after a few hrs of trying to catch up with my kids. Swings, slides and ziplines are within. I clocked volley ball and tennis courts also but my family is a little young for thag yet. Finally stop was to the lake to visit the local duck and other wildlife... where my dog dicided to jump in a muddy puddle. ....love her.
Lovely to be able to feed the ducks, enjoy the sand pit and park with my little one, There is a nice garden centre and railway ,beautiful walks and a skate park over the bridge with a smaller park. Highly recommended. The splash park is great in the summer months, a vendor for snacks and duck food . Parking in the bigger car park is advisable for maneuvering.
It’s a nice park in North Oxford. There are occasionally trains for children so make sure to check online for their opening time. Great place for picnic or walk your dog!!
A beautiful park in tbe middle of busy oxford. Play area, water splash play area, sand pit, walking area, duck pond, basketball court and beautiful natural scenery..
Took my 10mth old over Easter. It was busy but so spacious we didn't feel crowded. The gardens were beautiful and there was so many different spots for the kids to play. Great day out
Fab cheap family day out.. There are various things to do for free here such as use the huge sandpit, park, splash park, use the fields, go to the duck pond and visit the Averie which is full of life. For a charge there's mini golf, a kids train ride and a cafe. Could easily spend a whole day here if the sun's out.
