Great fresh food in a lovely ambience busy and modern vibe, with excellent staff. Will be looking forward to our next visit.
We are on the bank holiday Monday and had a very nice meal. It's a set menu with 3-4 options per course. I highly recommend the onion soup starter. Delicious!
This place is a great place to relax. Their cheese platter on Sundays is just the right amount for an in between snack for two. Hayden has been our bartender both times we’ve been here and already knows our names and drinks. He is also a great source of conversation and is always letting us rely on his local area expertise.
Beautiful interior in this pub, and they make delicious grilled sandwiches! I highly recommend the Reuben sandwich whole meal is only £11 — it’s super tasty and filling. The only thing I’d say is that you’re better off going for an early lunch before 14:00 so you not only get a table but also get your orders taken quickly and food get served on time. If you wait too late, the crowd builds up and it’ll take a long time for your order to be processed.
Got the pork roast ‍ and it was great! Staff came by often to make sure we didn’t run out of any gravy or water and were generally helpful.
This was our first visit. Really lovely, warm, and welcoming place. Staff excellent, provided great recommendations. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful food. Lovely atmosphere and helpful courteous staff.
A little slow when to get seated like they had just opened. But there were several at the bar. Only six dinner selections. Pretty good service only one person taking orders but kitchen help bringing food to table. The short-ribs dinner I ordered was very good as was the brownie dessert.
Found this place in Trip Advisor. It fully deserves its good reviews. The customer service was outstanding. The food delicious. We can't wait to go again!
