The beer is good. The food is good. But they seem incapable of understanding that a group may want food served to individuals not wait for the whole group to order. Hence today it was almost an hour to get my food. I was on the point of cancelling and getting my money back. On subsequent visits they sorted out the group ordering issue so I have upped the rating.

Lovely meal with family. Good quality well cooked food, great service. My only negative was the size of the portions, otherwise really great

Really nice friendly pub,sunday roast was good although prefer crispier tatties. Good range of puds and all staff very pleasant. Looking forward to trying out their nicely done outside area when the weather improves 😉

A lovely, proper pub with fantastic food (try the liver and bacon) and friendly staff. We just keep going back because you won't find better elsewhere.
