A proper pub. The focus is on doing the simple things well and they deliver. Great range of beer at very fair prices, no blaring TV, lovely fire, pleasant staff. On my visit they were out of some key parts of the makings of their menu but they accomadated myself and my group and the food they could offer was generous. Rare to find a pub like this and very glad it's so close to me.

Quaint pub. Nice to see a traditional pub so well supported. Very good food. Dog friendly.

Great beer festival, must remember to visit next year. Hog roast very nicely done, lovely meat and a reasonable price. Only the bun (roast was served like burger in a bun) let it down, not great bread and stone cold. Otherwise 5* for visit.

Great local pub atmosphere, fish and chip supper lovely. Highly recommended.
