Wetherspoons chain pub. It's nice enough. Some good local history on the walls and the interior retains the quirkiness of the original build.

Great food. Have been here for breakfast and dinner, food is wonderful. Staff are very friendly and prices are affordable. Definately recommend.

A lovely warm welcome from Jaimie. She looked after us very well, although it was busy and she was the only one waiting on. The food was served piping hot and just as we like it.

We took our dog for a walk down the canal and ended up at this pub. Though they don't let the dog inside (for obvious reasons; they serve food) they do have a great outdoors section with make shift dog bowls. Our food seemed to take an age to arrive but when it did it was very good. Might come back without the dog at some stage and venture inside to check out the restaurant properly.

Friendly staff, service is sometimes slow. Food quality is hit or miss. My meal was lovely but my partner's shouldn't have even made it out of the kitchen. His steak was all fat and he couldn't even cut it. Although it is not the kitchen's fault the steak was a bad cut, they should not have served it.
