The Crown Inn

I like the crown, it had a great mix of modern and traditional pub styles. The food is excellent, I even ordered a second starter after my first meal in there..😂. The beer is good too with a great selection of local ales that seem to be well looked after. The only thing I didn't like was how busy it was, but I did go on black eye Friday so I should have expected it really. Overall, great pub and I'll probably be visiting more often!

Favourite pub in the area, food is amazing and very affordable. Staff are friendly and not too intrusive whilst you are eating. One star knocked off as music can sometimes be a bit loud/repetitive/in-your-face All in all defo recommend this place!!

Food is always excellent and the place itself is lovely but the service is consistently poor at best, as I've said before they need to allocate tables to onw waitress, who is then responsible for drinks and food, my table had eaten half theirs as I waited for my main, my husband had to go looking for my meal and condiments for their meals, such a poor service from such a lovely place, first time I've insisted on no tip! You are letting yourselves down massively on something so easily rectified.

The food tasted nice but the soup I had barely covered the bottom of the bowl. I pointed it out to the staff and they said it was because it was on the set menu. Not good value for money so will not be returning.

Lovely place with a great menu, caters well for vegetarians and the food is all to a high standard. Lovely decor with friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
