This is always my go to place in Cork! Food is great and affordable, drinks are amazing too. Whether it’s to chat up with a few friends or some late night dancing, Old Oak never disappoints. Truly the best place for me!
it's a great place to socialize with events, staff is nice, beer is fresh like every pub in ireland. there is inside and outside seatingService: 5/5
We arrived at 11 people for lunch, the waiter immediately prepared a large table for us. We each ordered a different dish. We were pleasantly surprised to see all our dishes arrived one after the other without delay. We wanted to highlight the friendliness and helpfulness of the waiter. We ate very well and had a great time. Highly recommended !
It was my first pub in cork. I ordered my first Guinness. Later on, we ordered food. everything was good. the service and food was good. People were dancing. It was a good night.Food: 5/5
Not sure what's all with that bad reviews. It's excellent spacious pub. Came to cork for 2 nights and only spent most of my time here. The bartender guy can't recall his name, is an excellent guy. Don't miss this place!Food: 5/5
Wonderful Irish pub. Great service and food. Attached is a second restaurant that offers delicious deserts. Upstairs there is an open air bar must be a summer thing. Would highly recommend a visit. Food is good and cheap.Food: 5/5
10/10 would definitely recommend. Had a bag stolen out the front while I went to the toilet. The thief returned it with everything inside and asked for €1 for it's safe return. I refused and he returned my bag and went on his merry way. The fellas inside the pub bought me a celebratory pint. Happy days.
Popped in here for lunch recently. First off, it's counter service, staff not bothered to come take your food order. Didn't notice this advised on menu and apologies if it was! so we wasted 10 mins waiting for someone to come up to us. Food is basically beer soakage food but not very good, to be completely honest. I ordered a toasted cheese sandwich which my 10 yo nephew would have made a better job at! Came with a side portion, a very small side portion, of chips. No side salad, no garnish, nope just a measly, pale, limp sandwich. My friend got vegetarian nachos which came out with what looked, and tasted like, ½ jar salsa, ½ jar sour cream and ½ jar guacamole thrown on the side. The cheese was barely melted on it and nachos were stone cold. No part of the meal was v appetising. Staff, while weren't rude, weren't very friendly. Pity as Cork people as a rule are fairly sound. Place itself looks good. It's an old church, and apparently a good spot for music and watching sport. Definitely wouldn't recommend for food, save yourselves, go elsewhere!
The service just been awful... First the wrong drink and than they didn't show up again so I had to ask 3 times for a pint of beer..tooks ages..Food: 4/5
Lively place with really good food and drinks. Good for a quick afternoon drink and snack or a Friday night ball. Location is very accessible and easy to find. One of the good bars that you can visit in Cork.
