This was absolutely gorgeous! My friend and I came here for some Afternoon Tea and my, oh my, we had a great time. The interior decor of the restaurant/hotel was exquisite - we felt like royalty while we were there taking photos and sipping on glasses of prosecco. The sandwiches, cakes and sweet treats were a delight and we loved every bite. The staff were extremely friendly as we wandered around the grounds taking snaps & selfies, and soaking in the interior design. We spent hours there and truly loved every minute of it!
Amazing the vegetarian afternoon tea was delicious i don’t eat cheese and i had a special sandwich with vegan sausage, very lovely ! and for the price it’s a really good deal ! Nice staff, nice place with old decoration which give the perfect vibe for an authentic afternoon tea
Saw this gem from the bus and knew we had to try it out. Exceeded all our expectations! We had the pre- theater mealdeal 2 cources 21€ or 3 for 24€ the food was delicius! And the atmosphere was great! The staff is Nice and Quick: we had a great time!

Had afternoon tea here. Food was lovely but A party with 5 children came and sat near us. The children ran around, crawled along the floor and banged on the windows. The atmosphere was ruined by this. I feel the parents should have told children to sit down but I also feel that the staff should have done the same. I am not sure if I would eat here again or even recommend it. A bit of a disappointing afternoon
We booked afternoon tea with the living social voucher for Friday 4th November for 4pm we booked it a couple of days prior Wednesday 2nd when we arrived the staff in the cafe told us there was no booking the female waitress was extremely rude, when we advised we called to previously booked she answered ‘what do you want me to do’ I bought this voucher for my mams birthday and I took the day off work so we could go. The female waitress was very stand off ish and repeatedly said what did we want her to do and it wasn’t her fault. She went to the kitchen to see if there was anything the could do but they couldn’t as the afternoon tea is made fresh to order. That is understandable but we made the booking. The male waitress Brendan was extremely nice and couldn’t be any more helpful he told us to take a seat and brought us some prosecco and advised us not to worry that he will sort something. He brought us over scones and tea and even offered us some toasties. He kept checking in to make sure we were okay and advised he was extremely sorry. He said the issue may have been when we called to book we got through to the hotel and they never passed on the message to book us in. I can’t fault Brendan at all he was amazing. As for the female waitress I wish I got her name she was extremely rude and has no customer service skills.
Fabulous! Came here with my partner and son for afternoon tea and was pleasantly surprised at just how nice it was. Staff were so attentive and lovely. Coffee was perfect. We will definitely be back again and will be recommending to others.Food: 5/5
