Have say use come here with my mum wen we be in town shopping. Lovely cakes. Hot food great dinner, breakfast sandwiches Lovely pot tea..staff so nice. But all change now all done up new staff. Well young staff. But photos of poeple that worked here. Way back. Of them on walls. Which Lovely see.
Stopped here for a typical Irish breakfast and honestly I do not regret. Food is delicious, one can choose among different formulas, also there is a huge choice of home made desserts and bakeries. Service was extremely friendly and welcoming! I strongly recommend!
Myself and my mother drop in every few weeks. The sandwiches are always delicious. The girls put plenty of filling inside and crisp on the side. A lot of seating inside and the staff is always on top of the cleaning. Just over €16 for 2 sandwiches and a tea and coffee good value.
All day breakfast is not fresh. I guess it’s leftovers that they warm up. Even the chips served with it which is not a breakfast item necessarily is oily & smells like over-used oil. & the way they serve it is a mess & they charge 13.5 for it. Like a full fresh meal that you can get everywhere. Do you even eat warmed-up fried egg at your home that you serve & charge for it? Disgusting. My worst experience in Dublin so far.
Nice experience, good food, clean setting. However, the blondish-haired girl at the deli/cake stand at entrance to shop did not appear to give warm reception. I says good morning and she looks at me with wide eyes as if she was going to charge for me. Had similar experience with same girl up at the till. She lacks basic customer service skills; no please/ no thank you/ no engagement with customer; place wasn’t even busy. This is a sin because I love this place, hence the reason for the 3 star review! Nonetheless, I will continue to visit this place and give my custom. Good service!
Baguettes are tasteless and stale, clearly use cheap ingredients ! Ordered a scone to be told cream was in the fridge, after approaching 4 different members of staff all unhelpful and cold we were told they don’t have cream - how can you sell scones with no cream ???? Cups and cutlery are dirty, lipstick marks on the cup. The place is dirty and overpriced for tasteless garbage, and the staff are miserable and unhelpful !!!!
The food was nice and tasty, portion sizes were very good. The gravy was really good. I had the Chicken topped with tomato and cheese, very nice. I even tasted the Lasagne and the pasta was nice and thick, also delicious. The meal deal, Dinner and dessert, and a coffee/500ml mineral was very reasonably priced. I'd recommend.
Good place for quick coffee take away. Lots of breakfast choices to take away
Love this place going years, cannot fault it from fresh sandwiches to fresh soups and fresh carvery's, and of course the cakes. Reasonably priced especially if you opt for one of the numerous food promotions/special offers instore. Staff are always lovely and its kept clean and tidy.Food: 5/5
I give service 2 star because we went in their today at 4pm and my 8yr old son wanted a hot chocolate which is on the menu and the girl working there said there finished making them. I was gobsmacked talk about poor service its not like a hot chocolate is rocket science why is it on the menu if you can choose not to make it. Unbelievable if I was working there I would have made it for a child very bad form. We won't go there again and if I was her boss I'd have a nice chat with this lady and she wasn't a young girl middle aged
