Lovely place for an Irish breakfast or bap to start your day ! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my bap and the staff are so good as well. The food was well presented on the plate. In my opinion, this is good value and well worth the money. The menu is extensive as is the interior. You can sit in the conservatory looking onto the street or inside. Everywhere is clean and warm. It is centrally located on O’Connell Street near to the Gresham. Definitely worth a visit, and reading the reviews, most fellow diners think so too !
Located in the heart of the city. The restaurant was quite big with closely packed tables, can be very busy at times. Requires no reservations, can walk in subject to availability. We had a fulfilling lunch here. The food was freshly prepared with generous portion sizes and fairly priced. Overall service was good.
The food was delicious and the location is right in the middle of everything a visitor could want. Atmospherics were great and the staff was also friendly. The only reason for the lost star is because it was expensive for what it was. Yes, it’s downtown Dublin, but other places on the same street were cheaper for equally excellent food. That said, it’s not a reason to stay away. If the quality is always this high, people won’t leave here unsatisfied with their choice of dining for the night.
We came in for lunch. My mum had the bacon and cabbage which she said was absolutely delicious. I had the vegan burger which was the best I've ever had. Friendly staff and good value for money. Would definitely recommend and visit again whenever I'm next in Dublin.
Lovely food, restaurant in a pretty good location. Had to queue for 20 minutes but was worth the wait. Was a very busy evening so service wasn't amazing, but understandable. The price was about average for Dublin. I had the wings & ribs combo and was delicious, My partner had a pizza which was also tasty. Would visit again if in Dublin
The best meal we had in Dublin! Beautifully decorated and clean. Lovely red haired lady served us, had a smile on her face all night, very friendly and attentive. Great restaurant!
Food was really good! Crispy fish and chips. The burger was also tasty! Good coffee and drinks. Dessert was fresh! Nice service.
Hard to believe its nearly 40 years since I was last in Flanagans. I had great memories there and was really pleasantly surprised with the new " new to me " look of the place. Very friendly service, great atmosphere and really quick serving drinks and dinners. Portions sizes were perfect. Most importantly the food was delicious. 5 Stars no hesitation.
Food was excellent, atmosphere great and very welcoming, staff really helpful , value for money
A slowly-slowly-increasingly-large group of us dropped in for an afternoon snack and a pint. The staff were very accommodating and flexible. We were advised a drink had to be accompanied by food, which wasn’t a problem. I snacked on the deep fried Brie, two battered slabs with a jam-like dip. Very good.
