A very warm welcome from the staff and landlord, I really enjoyed my full english breakfast, everything is excellent quality. I have been back many times for breakfasts and evening dinner with friends and family. I highly recommend The Fox .

I booked two rooms for our visit to Bristol for a stag weekend in favour of a more established hotel and am happy with the decision. A good, clean and welcoming place - rooms have everything you need. The staff, including Richard, were really kind - making us a welcome coffee, a stag do preparation cocktail and then an incredible sausage sandwich. Would recommend!
If you're hitting up Bristol, stay here! Just the loveliest people running this joint. Rooms were really comfy and clean, and breakfast was banging. Gave us a free beverage at check in and everything was a breeze. If you're in town and need a no-frills place to crash look no further
Fantastic breakfast with very courteous staff. Really couldn't ask for more, I came here due to the reviews and they are correct. The large breakfast is enough for two people, so come hungry.
Heard good things about the breakfast at the fox so finally checked it out. We eat breakfast most Fridays in work all across Bristol, this was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! Next time I’m in the area I’ll be back for another.
4 year update. Food still great, staff still great, venue still great! If anything, the standards all round are even better than my last post & the "secret" gardenwhere you can also purchase plants from is a little sanctuary of peace & tranquility in a very urban area. You will be hard pressed to find a better breakfast in Bristol, come hungry, leave satisfied. Old review below. Fantastic little cosy joint, with great food & extremely friendly & helpful staff. Owner is full of banter & does an extremely good job of making you feel welcome. Check it out if you're in the area.
Hidden gem of an establishment! Rich is a fantastic landlord and the place is a credit to him! Had a monster breakfast that was fantastic, full of quality food and a great price! Will be visiting again very soon! Go see for yourself...you won't be disappointed!!
