Excellent beer, Dartmoor IPA always hits the spot. Great selection of other drinks including spirits. Impressive gin selection too. Sam and Paddy the owners are lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The food is spot on with an excelent selection of dishes and vegetarians are well catered for. I’ve just had the nicest veggie pie ever there, portions are generous too. The quiz on a Thursday is also good fun. I am only sorry that I don’t live closer!

We visited The Old Court House whilst camping nearby. Sam the host and his family were very friendly and welcoming, as were the locals. The home cooked food was excellent and well portioned. We enjoyed our visit so much we returned several times. It was one of the highlights of our trip. 😀 Definitely will return again if in area or possibly to stay in one of their rooms. Well worth a visit and village was lovely too x

Amazing homemade food. Highly recommend the steak and stilton pie.

Best pub on our camping trip we found in North Devon , blinding landlord Sam & family + very friendly locals . Home cooked food was best we had for a long while plus very hard to leave a clean plate due to potion size :-)
