Popped in on an afternoon for a quick drink. The king's arms was everything I was looking for with a decent two beers on pump, a pool table, darts board, sports news on TV and a music channel with hits of the nineties. Friendly bar lady and two lovely big dogs who live there (but understandably I don't think other dogs are welcome). It's a pub in the centre of a small town rather than a rural retreat, but it was so friendly that I hope to pop back here during my stay in the area.
