Visited here on a Saturday Lunch just to try their lunch menu with a family member. I had their lunch option board with a selection of fillings on either a salad, jacket, omelette, sandwich or baguette for £5.95; I had the chicken and bacon salad with garlic mayonnaise and it was THE best salad I’ve had in a long time. There was more chicken and bacon ratio to lettuce (I must of have nearly 2 chicken breast and 4 slices of bacon) the garlic mayo was creamy and full of flavour. I really recommend trying The Black Cock Inn if you’re in the area; they also have an on-site camping and caravan park for those looking for a long weekend away.

Absolutely faultless, the food is great and plenty of it at very reasonable prices, staff are amazing and run by great people. I will keep on coming back here without a doubt.

Had a great time down in Devon. There was a great range of local Ales, which meant that I was immediately happy. The food was great, the staff were very welcoming, and the kids loved the indoor play area, and the outdoor garden area. A really welcoming pub, in the heart of some truly spectacular scenery, thank you for looking after us so well.

Local pub atmosphere, limited menu but all meals we had were thoroughly enjoyed. Hefty portions as well. No frills good stuff!
