Beautiful old clubhouse with classy interiors. Enjoyed my last meal outside before lockdown 2! Great surroundings also.
The service was ace considering the times we are in. Nice and fast and very friendly. Food wise yep it was nice all freshly made just a bit chainy if that makes sense. Fish and chips I'd go for the standard in the future
Steak not especially tasty. Boiled potatoes just warm. Seasonal vegetables probably frozen and not well cooked. The service mind you was superb, and so is the surroundings. I ate at five in in the afternoon though so maybe not the regular chef.
Good value food and good service. I had an auto correct error in my original review; it was supposed to say 'Good value food and good service'. Apologies for the confusion.
Nice atmosphere and attentive service, but the food is below par. I had fish that was overcooked and dry and bland. My partner had hunters chicken. It was okay but also a little bland. My 5 year old enjoyed his chicken nuggets. Wouldn't eat here again.
