The bar staff who served us greeted us at the door and remembered us on our second visit which is nice. Very welcoming and accommodating for our dog. Perhaps not the largest selection of vegetarian food but what we had was lovely and super good value for money.
We visited here twice on a recent break in Buxton. Great food and drink and reasonably priced. Pleasant staff who also looked after our dog. Definitely visit again.
Great find in Buxton! Nice menu and great daily specials. The atmosphere is very nice too. Just wish we had room for dessert, as they looked amazing!
Spent a nice sunny afternoon outside drinking a few nice cold beers. Good service and well controlled Covid precautions in place.
A late lunch 3:30pm after a walk on Tuesday, we ordered Tuesday special Grill and drink. we all have guinness and steaks. most of the steaks were tough to chew. the staffs were friendly and i have extra salad with my steak. free wifi.
We all had the fish and chips which was delicious. Very friendly staff and great value. We look forward to visiting again when we're next in the peaks
Reasonably priced with many screens for sports to be watched on. There's outside seating too which is great in the summer. The pool table was out of order during our visit but still a nice pub overall and would recommend
4 young members of staff stood there talking... they saw me and my partner standing there BUT still continued to ignore us. We soon walked out!
Called in for lunch and we had 4 sharers. Loads of good food served rapidly. Cannot complain. Support local pubs!
Went out with 3 family members who all had different dishes. All food was excellent, bit limited menu at moment, due to Covid 19. Well worth going back though.
