Had a great experience here. The food was fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented. A special mention to Yasmin for the excellent service — very friendly, attentive and professional throughout. She made us feel really welcome and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning!
Booked a table for 17:30 on a Tuesday evening and was surprised at how busy it was. It was easy to park and there was virtually no wait to be served table service. I had fish and chips and garden peas and of course the famous salad which was well stocked and delicious. I was very impressed and would definitely return. Better than toby carvery and Wetherspoons in my opinion! The food was super hot and the salad fresh and tasty.
Visited today with family and had a really mixed experience. The staff were genuinely lovely and the customer service throughout was warm and attentive — no complaints there at all.nUnfortunately, the food let the visit down significantly. I ordered a medium rare steak which arrived very well overdone originally. I thought fair enough, mistakes happen — I sent it back. The replacement steak, however, came out blue/rare photo attached, which is the complete opposite end of the spectrum. By this point my whole family were already halfway through their meals, so I didn’t feel I could send it back a second time and just had to make do.nI was extremely frustrated as neither of the steaks were even close to what I asked for and were in complete opposite ends of the spectrum, making me question whether the chef was even checking how much they were cooking.
I am very disappointed with your food and service.nWe waited 40 minutes after placing our order through the app, and we eventually had to go inside and collect our drinks ourselves. When we told the staff that one of our drinks was missing, we had to wait another 15 minutes for it.nThe food was poor quality as well. On top of that, because we ordered through the app, we even left a 10% tip, which made the whole experience even more disappointing.nI would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Our waitress Jasmine was amazing. Polite, welcoming and friendly. Kept us supplied in drinks as a friend and I were catching up, we had not awed each other in ages. The food was fantastic complements to the chef Roy!nBrilliant morning. Fantastic service.
