They have the best Christmas Fair, good food, bakedd goodies, delicious mulled wine, and they sell beautifully crafted Nordic Christmas gifts. Always one weekend before Thanksgiving. Thumbs up.
I love this church/ cultural center. It's beautiful and a wonderful and welcoming gathering place for all!
Very friendly and kind people. Take time to get to know them and the church community if you have the time.
Incredibly service oriented and relaxed Lutheran Protestant religious professionals, who conduct excellent Sunday masses presented in Norwegian. Numerous religious events occurthroughouttheyear, especially for young Norwegians and for the more mature adults. Holiday celebrations, Norwegian food products, and Christmas shopping of traditional Norwegian fare.
Our home away from home!! Love this place so much. Everyone here has a smile on their face and is so warm and welcoming. Even if you aren't Norwegian, you are treated like family. If you can, come join their May 17th celebration, they know how to throw a party!!
I came here for the Norwegian Christmas Fair which ran from the 21st to 24th of November. They had various Norwegian snacks, baked goods, sandwiches, candies and preserved jars for sale. I've never seen those candies before so that was very interesting. I bought a delicious lingonberry jam and tried their baked cinnamon rolls and chocolate rolls and they were delicious! Everyone was really nice and welcoming and it felt like a nice little community.
Everyone recommended us to visit this place in NYC. Amazing hosts. They also got a selection of Norwegian snacks, candy, and household goods. Brunost, or the candy of the gods is a brown cheese which is a "most have treat" unlike anything you tasted before. A home away from home: 10/10
Jul Market is a yearly tradition
Enjoyed the Christmas sale last year. Is there any way to access events in English on their web site?
Very nice and friendly Norwegian Christmas fair!
