Brilliant place with happy animals and staff. Free to enter but throw them a donation on your way out to help feed the animals. I wasn't sure at first with 'farm' in the name, but this is more of an animal sanctuary taking care of rescues and rare breeds. We were lucky enough to meet Mustard the ferret while he was being attended to. If the cafe is open you could spend an afternoon here, it's also got a private hire venue where there was a children's birthday party being held which looked like a fun wholesome way to celebrate. Sadly the cafe was closed when we were here, we would've loved to try the food and have a coffee - maybe next time!
We visited this city farm after the art of brick exhibition at the boiler house. Recommend it to families as there are a variety of animals to see and lovely plants and vegetables to look at. You can buy their produce as well at the farm shop. A small play area for children with outdoor toys where the cute bug hotel is.
Such a lovely place! Visited it today for the first time and I’ll be coming back for sure. Lots of veggies, fruit and herbs are being grown and so many happy animals are being taken care of. You can enjoy a tour of the farm and even try delicious goods that are being prepared with their own produce. Highly recommended especially for families!
An excellent place for a date or to take your family. Spitalfields City Farm is charity run and community grown, featuring a variety of well cared for ducks, goats, rabbits and more. The best part is being able to interact with the animals! You can tell that due diligence and care have been put in to ensure each animal is comfortable and healthy - they are happy to welcome respectful, curious visitors. Do give this a visit if you're in the area.
Cute city farm, a hidden gem in Shoreditch. Several gardens and animals like chicken, duck, goat, donkey, pig, etc. with many seating areas, cafe and shop. A good place for family, quite child friendly.
Stopped at a park on Brick Lane only to spot a petting farm in the city of all places! Went in and it's free to enter Donations accepted and it's a open and rather laid back type of small farm. With some animals petting sessions are available to book, lots of produce being grown and a mini farm shop. All in all a pleasant surprise.
Such a lovely day out with my aunt and cousin sister. We really enjoyed the animals and we saw a ferret being walked! It was really nice being able to interact with the animals and the workers were also lovely. My aunt grew up in the local area and used to go with her dad and now 20 years later, she took her own daughter. It’s a great family tradition.
I love this place! Good people with hearts on its right place offer you and specifically your children some country time in the center of London! Enjoy it! It feels good! It smells good! It looks good! It just feels right :
Another visit to Spitalfields City Farm. Lovely little farm in the heart of London making the most of their space. Spring has sprung and they have lots of produce and flowers growing in their plots. Nice little shop with various products linked or from the farm. Also, a small food stand. New projects in progress, raised beds and redoing an animal pen. Recommend poping down and supporting. Keep up the great work !
A beautiful island of green in the middle of the busy city area. The perfect place for families and kids to spend some hour among the animals that used to be part of daily few decades ago. A fun to teach respect for our planet and other creature. A lovely coffee shops and many sitting area makes the experiences enjoyable for adults as well. Hopefully these realities will stay alive for a long time.
