The best pub in the area ... very nice food. Professional service! Recommended!!! The owner she is amazing

Had a meal here, very possibly the best pub grub I've had. I ordered the cheese burger and chips, it was a massive plateful of food. The chips were the real beasts and perfectly cooked. Huge burger in a bun with plenty of good cheese and a nice little salad on the side. And the cost was great too, think it was just under a tenner. Would definitely eat here again.

Lovely little old school pub right in the town centre of deal. The staff and patrons were extremely friendly. Food portions were absolutely enormous and not expensive at all. Quality was nothing too special but perfectly nice and the price and portion size more than made up for it. Dog and baby friendly too.

Nice old pub on high street. Meal deal for seniors. Was packed and it was a Tuesday. Had a snack baguette with sausage. Lovely big portions.  My daughter had big prawn jacket.  Good prices. Staff good. One lady really worked hard

First visit today. Very warm and welcoming greeting. Carvery was one of the best I have had. The place itself is small but it's cosy! Everything works well.  The service here is 10/10. Other than to get my carvery, I never had to leave my seat.  It was my daughter's 7th birthday and they let us take up a big table for her to open her presents. They also took all the rubbish away. To finish off a lovely meal thay brought out dessert with a candle in it and sang her happy birthday.  It made her day.  Great place, great food, great staff! We will be back x

Nice dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was quiet but we sat by the fire and had a good meal. Wine could have been chilled better and the food a bit more flavor, but the atmosphere was good and the people friendly.

Good little local boozer with a good crowd of regulars. Recently changed the landlady. I tend to end up here on a Sunday evening for a good drink and some live music. The mens toilets could do with a make over tho!

Very nice welcome. The 3 young people in the restaurant were so pleasant and attentive.  We only had cod and chips but they were very nice. Would eat there again.

It's a pub with attitude so give it a try! Live music, good food, great choice of beer and wine and the best is the fantastic staff. I loved my visit here so I am sure that you will as well.

Everywhere is closed for lunch between 3pm and 6pm...my partner and I were desperate for food at 2.50 pm...the owner asked the kitchen to re-open just for us. What a lovely gesture.  The food was amazing and plenty of it. Highly recommend this pub.
