Great chips, unfortunately overpriced though. I bought a medium size portion of chips, they were fresh out of the fryer and cooked just the way they should be - nice and crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside. The portion size was quite small considering the price, hence 4 stars.
Amazing fish and chips restaurant .We ordered large haddock and chips also drinks, spent less than £20 per person. Everything was so fresh and tasty, staff polite and friendly very helpful. If U'll visit Deal don't miss them strongly recommend
Seaview, and it definitely has the view from where we sat and had the delicious food. I tried the Seafood basket, and it was tasty, fresh apart from being a big portion with chips and salad. My partner tried Rock and was very impressed plus loved the decent portion size. Chips are nicely done, which is a bonus. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The place was busy, and the takeaway was quite popular. It is air-conditioned too.
The food here is amazing and delicious, the staff here are very friendly and nice. We was served by 2 lovely and kind waiters, who made sure to check on us and provided excellent customer service. The portions of the food was great. I highly recommend this placeFood: 5/5
All in all a great place for a fish and chips dinner, we have been coming here for years and do recommend to guests. Cod was fantastic tonight, chips great but we did feel the halloumi starter was a bit small. After a lovely day out looking at properties and visiting Walmer Castle Christmas Experience going home to cook was not looking appealing Our only other down side is one of our three children wanted a large meal under 12 and the other who is over 12 wanted a large meal but we were told we had to order both large meals no exceptions which when you have a child who hardly eats and then most of the adult portion was left is a little frustrating. I felt a little bit of leniency could have been more helpful. All in all 5 dinners, a couple of sides, drinks came in at £73, good value in the current day and decent portions.
Visited the restaurant last weekend as a family of 7 for a late lunch/early dinner. Food was hot and tasty, drinks were great, service was brilliant! Great sea and pier view. We enjoyed a Whitby scampi and chips, cod and chips, 2 pie and chips and 2 children's meals, all which were generous in portions. We will definitely be back Kid-friendliness: Various choices of children's meals and drinks. Colouring was provided for the children when we sat down which kept the children entertained until our food arrived.
This very busy and friendly family run fish and chip shop makes wonderfully fresh and tasty fish and chips at a fair price. We have visited before and it is consistently good. If you're visiting Deal, then you must try Sea View.Food: 4/5
Great family lunch. Joined the queue to eat in just before midday, opened on time and we were quickly seated with a very warm welcome from the staff. Food was great - cod and plaice meals both fantastic, and kids enjoyed their chicken nuggets meal. Didn't have to wait long at all for the food and drinks, but not rushed at all to finish the meal. Also a plus point for families - clean toilets for use by customers. Highly recommended, would definitely return.
After a morning exploring we came across this lovely fish and chip shop on the seafront. Cod and chips and peas, I was told, were some of the best they had eaten. Particularly the batter as it was light and crunchy. I had one of the specials of the day, a seafood basket and it was delicious. Butterfly prawns, scampi, salt and pepper squid and calamari, served with chips, salad and a choice of sauce! Yum!
The staff are very welcoming and friendly..but more importantly their cod and chips is delicious .. and reasonably priced. There is both a takeaway and a restaurant.. Myself and a friend had a meal in the restaurant. Well deserved after walking from Dover to Deal.
