We've been fishing here for the last 7 years or so, nowhere near as often as I would like but we go every chance we get. The New Celtic Lakes is the best fishery around! Great owners Neil and Maggie who take pride in the lake! Great fishing, great location! If you enjoy catching big Carp, big Catfish and even bigger Sturgeon then this is the place to be! Prices are really good too. On site Bait and Tackle shop that also sells all the small essentials you may need during your stay, open until 5pm.Toilets and showers also available. This is a no nonsense lake, the owners work to rule, do not attend here if you're going just to have a drink with the lads, it won't be tolerated. all being said, being sensible is the goal. This lake is for serious anglers who take pride in their hobby. If you've never made the trip, then you're missing out! Check out their Facebook Page!
I went here in May 2022 and did not leave a review then. A wonderful spot to go fishing, knowledgeable and friendly owners who care deeply for their fish and ponds. Highly recommended and probably the best fishery around.
The best specimen fishery I've ever had the pleasure to fish an absolute amazing place with stunning views and wildlife , Fantastic and friendly owners who make you feel completely welcome and are happy to give you all the information you need to get the most out of your peg, With rules in place to protect the fish to the up most its nice to see an owner who is interested in fish care and not money like some places, For me its home from home and as soon as I have to leave the venue I instantly can't wait to get back i completely love the fishery and can't recommend enough.
For me, one of the best fisheries in the UK. Run very proffesionally with very dedicated owners. Fish care is paramount with regular rig checks by a friendly bailiff. On sight facilities are perfect with showers, toilets and a comprehensivly stocked tackle shop. Friendly advice is always on hand if needed and the owners will put you on the fish. The lake has a very special stock of immacate carp, grass carp, BIG Bream, BIG sturgeon and BIG cats. Amazing place. Highly, highly recommended.
20 carp a day for 2 days between 5 and 14 lb. Well managed. Good shop. Toilets. Well maintained lakes and swims.
Top quality venue, awesome owners, great condition lake, big fish and extremely clean facilities. Can't get much better

Fantastic fishery In my opinion its the best in South Wales, warm welcome, pefs are spotless no old rigs or hooks laying around, the fish are stunning too.
The best Fishery in Wales. Very well presented and looked after and very well run. Great owners Neil & Maggie. Very friendly bailiffs and even food brought to your bivvy by Martin bivvy dinners. Five star.
I love this place. I've driven from Ireland 6 times. I've caught over 60 carp up to 39lb 2 stergion over 90lb and 15 cats up to 44lb . toilets and showers are spotless. Tackle store is a bit bare but plenty of baits to pick from. Keep your fishing simple and you should do very well.
