Lovely little museum with local history information and an exhibition space which changes regularly. Upstairs there is a room dedicated to mining with a 'tunnel' to explore and also two rooms documenting toys through the years with toys available to play with. Added bonuses are the small cafe with drinks and snacks and toilet facilities. The car park is free but very small. The staff are very helpful and organise regular events.

Little museum offering historic knowledge of cannock chase. Cafe offering tea/coffee and nibbles. Kids has a great time trying on dress up items and touring through the miners hole. There is also a centre opposite which hosts different activities throughout the year.

My old playground. I lived about 400 yards from this place back in the 70's when this place used to be the old Valley Pit and had not long closed down. This place, Gaskins Wood and Hednesford Park just on my doorstep. What more could an outdoors lad want!!!
