Very disappointed. Firstly I paid a lot of money for my appointment to find out I had to pay an additional £30 per mole to be checked. Secondly I thought I was seeing a specialist but I was actually only seeing a nurse. I had my results back relatively quickly and it said I needed an urgent referral, which made me feel extremely anxious. I booked in with the mole clinic for them to offer me an appointment in September, which made no sense. I then decided to go through my GP who said there was nothing wrong with my moles, he referred me to the hospital anyway for my results to come back all fine. Prior to this I had rang and cancelled my appointment with the mole clinic. 3 weeks have gone by and my refund has still not come through. I spoke to someone on customer service today and she said I did not give her my card details for a refund, like it was my fault. The woman I spoke to never asked me for my details yet told me the refund had gone through. The amount of money you are paying you would expect a high level of service unfortunately that is not the case. I am not one for normally leaving bad reviews but the amount of anxiety I went through regarding my results and inconvenience this has caused me I had to.
I was able to get an appointment on the same day I telephoned at Argyll Street London. All the staff are friendly but professional. The appointment was very thorough and not rushed. The nurse checked my history and gave me tips for future skincare. I went on Saturday afternoon and had my report emailed back on Tuesday. Highly recommended.
Saw Martina at Harley Street for a full body check after my fiancée noticed a suspect mole on my back - Martina was extremely professional, polite and made me feel very safe and respected and thanks to her I recently had a completely different mole removed as per the doctors advice. Can’t recommend both the Mole Clinic and Martina specifically enough. Oh and the receptionist was also equally polite and professional.
I always have the mole map and mole check - this system really is the best way to yearly check any change in your moles as it matches each one to last year. After checking on the computer the nurse hand checked each one and found one new mole which we then took a photo of for more investigation as I’m over 50 and unusual to get new moles. The nurse was amazing, very very thorough and very kind. I totally recommend this system and this very clean mole clinic
I had a mole map booked at The Harley Street clinic. I live 2 hours out of London and came up the night before. I recieved a text at 7.15pm the night before the appointment cancelling it. So I have wasted a lot of money on trains and hotel for nothing. I understand the nurse was not well but, its also not my fault and now I am out of pocket. All I was offered was to reschedule, but how can I trust this won't happen again if I re book?
Was very easy and straight forward to get an appointment at the Argyll St clinic. Reception staff were friendly, as was the nurse Edyta. I received my report from the doctor within a few days. I was very happy with the service.
Professional private clinic in central London. Easy to reach and excellent service. I was thoroughly satisfied with the full body mapping and with the quick response from the doctor after the initial examination.
The only thing that was lower then the competence is the care. I asked for advice what to do with a removal went wrong, but the practitioner went into how would she know that, she has no idea what was done, why she's even asked ... Even giving a leaflet about the potential risks would have been better than that amateur rampage about she being only an image taker why would she give advice. The incompetence was shocking. And the arrogance was a blow on my trust in private 'care'. The place practically had no expertise or care offered. Three times I repeated that I had full body check recently, 3 times she pushed that this is her advice, buying again. I just felt in the hand of a sales predator, horrible experience when in a vulnerable state of worrying about skin cancer!
Just paid a small fortune too have my moles checked ....then paid extra for them to be photographed. I then got a call to say I needed my moles to be urgently looked at via dermoscopic examination within two weeks however they didn't have any appointments in the next two weeks!!!!!! I would advise anyone going to have their moles checked to find a centre that can do everything on the same day otherwise like me you then have to find another centre to do further treatment!!!! ANNOYING and stressful! The nurse was absolutely lovely -reception REALLY unhelpful....!!AVOID
Just had a consultation there today and truly feel I have wasted £150. I had multiple moles I wanted to remove and the doctor told me it would be completely impossible to remove them which left me upset and confused as this place is literally called 'the mole clinic'. I said I would be going somewhere else for a second opinion to which he suddenly changed the story and said he could book me to remove one of them and started listing prices, but I did not want to give them any more of my money. I will be going elsewhere tomorrow with better reviews and a cheaper consultation fee. EDIT: I have just noticed they replied to my review saying they don’t have a payient of my name. They may be shocked to learn that some people use a different name online due to privacy reasons. However I can assure you this clinic is a scam, please don’t waste your time or money. I would recommend Cosmedics who only have a £50 consultation fee and were able to remove all of my moles for a more reasonable price.
