This is another excellent JD Wetherspoon. The service was first rate. The beer, wine, cider and spirits selection is excellent. The food is good value pub food It represents great value. It was clean and well presented with care taken to ensure that customers were happy with the order that they received.
Pleasant meal in a nice pub, friendly staff and served quickly. Good prices and choices. Quiet quiet for a Friday night too. Plenty of seating.
Stacey is full of charm and a credit to the business. The ale is kept in good condition, particularly the Burton Bridge stairway to heaven for £1.99 shows seriously good value for money . I had the JDW meal deal: veggie burger and the classy Hazy Jane for £6.55. Hazy Jane on her own is over £3! All in all a good JD Wetherspoon ,
Best hot food loverly place great staff always smiling very quick service 5 stars every time.
When ordering a sirloin steak and chips whats happened to the peas? A single mushroom or grilled tomato would of done, instead I got 12 chips and a steak, sorry wetherspoons but I shall be going to the Star from now on. Only good thing to say is the staff were nice and friendly.
Absolutely freezing cold again. Management say they have no control of the air con. People eating in hats and scarves once again. If you are planning to eat here at this time of year bring warm clothes. Terrible.
Ordered 8oz sirloin from the app, it came out with literally just chips and steak, the app doesn't state the difference between the gourmet steak and normal one. But apparently was told after when I asked that the gourmet steak comes with peas and tomatoes and the normal one doesn't. Even though the gourmet steak has less calories than the normal. The steak was terrible and half of it was grissle and inedible. Normally I like wetherspoons and food is normally nice but this time was such a disappointment.
Went for a meal after work with colleagues, nice decor, served in good time, good price , good portions. No nearby parking, park on Sainsbury car park ! Worth a visit.
Excellent food is very tasty and presented really well. The staff are very friendly and helpful..
Well i think the chef had a bad day..black toastwhich we sent back and had no apology forbut if we hadnt have just come back from holiday we would have sent it all back..rubber eggs luke warm sausages..basically terrible meal.. definately not the usual wetherspoon standard!!!
