Stayed for business so not touring. Lovely friendly staff. Enjoyed a drink in the bar before heading out for a curry. Everything you need at good quality. Nice breakfast. Well done.nAttention to detail in room would have earned 5 stars
Went on a Friday evening to a private function, the bar staff on arrival were very efficient, young lad behind the bar was very good, good conversation and a fun experience. Had a 3 course meal of haggis bites, a chicken dish and a cheesecake dessert. All three courses were top notch, wait staff were excellent and got everyone's meals out within a few minutes of each other so people weren't waiting to eat. Went through to the public bar afterwards and again got great service. A pleasant outdoor area for the smokers in the group. Everything was spotless and I couldn't find fault in everything.
Stayed here bc i had a horseback riding appointment near by. When i arrived they had plenty of parking. The 2 gals working reception that night was Sara And another one from England, that i didnt catch her name. They were all very helpful. Even the kitchen staff made sure i was good. The rooms were great. The next morning i encountered several staff, The breakfast attendant and also the front receptionist. They were very nice. Highly recommend
your administrator a woman of about 50 is very rude, you cannot communicate with people the way she does. And the hotel is good.nnI am changing the review to answer you since this function is not available here.nnthe hotel is correct, and you will not find my name in the reservation, since another person was indicated. And just some advice - treat people with politeness, regardless of whether they are guests or not, since the woman clearly has problems with communication with all the people around her. And in fact, not all of your reviews are good, the surprising thing is that most likely the bride’s review about the disgusting administrator is a review about the same person, which is what I mean. Don't hire people who are toxic to others. Thank you.
Noisy gulls but not much to be done about bird song. Otherwise, excellent. Friendly service and an amazing whisky collection.
