Stayed here on a business trip for almost an entire month. The breakfast was delicious and I already miss waking up to a very plentiful hot breakfast. Each room has the standard TV, bathroom, WIFI that you would expect anywhere else. The restaurant is hands down the best quality food in Elgin, without breaking the bank! This was by far, the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It isn't the most "modern" of accommodations, with more of a rustic and family oriented spirit about it. The staff are by far the MOST helpful, cheerful, and caring hotel staff that I have ever had the chance to experience. I will truly miss the hotel, the food, and most importantly the staff. They truly made you feel like you were a part of their family.

Lovely 2 course meal, asked for the separate vegetarian menu. Would recommend the goats cheese bruchetta. Service was prompt and had a quiet table in the conservatory.
