Have eaten there numerous times, breakfast, lunch and dinner... The food is always great. The staff are also very friendly.
Came in today 21st Oct, the food was fantastic. Taz who did our food was cheerful and friendly and Paul the other chef who took our food to our table was very chatty and friendly. Its a shame to see its not very busy with everything going on. Keep up the good work guys I'm sure you will be busy again.
Found a hair in one of our carvery meals, told the waitress who said she would sort it. A waiter then came over who said he would only give one refund and accused us of planting the hair to get the money back. How is that acceptable customer service? He needs to learn some manners and not to be rude to paying customers.
Food, staff and service was excellent. Thank you all for a fab visit! We will be back.
We visited last night and we were very impressed. We had the carvery and enjoyed every bit of it. All the staff there are friendly and helpful.
Lovely meal today at the Malt Shovel. Kind welcome, instructions gave carefully. The food was delicious, good sized portion and hot. Lisa, Andy and the young man at the carvery were all friendly and kind. Will come back again. Thank you for a lovely meal.
