Great drinks selection and good food menu. We went for an Ubu & Coors while browsing the menu, in a nice quiet corner of the pub. Lovely decor and a nice fire to keep warm. We decided on the seabass each, with lemon butter and a side of cauliflower cheese and steamed greens. Very tasty and great value for money! Food arrived within 15 minutes and was delicious. We did have to ask for cutlery at the bar after our food arrived, but not a big deal at all. Will love to visit again when in the area.
Moved right next door to this place on the 23/12/2022. I have to say I'm rather happy. What a beautiful pub this is. From the ambiance to the quality of the food & drink to the staff. It's a cracking place that I'm so happy to live right next door too. Having this as a local is a blessing. Being dog friendly is great also. The quality of food for what you pay is second to none. Excellent produce and portions. I'll finish by recommending downloading there app as there are so many excellent benefits from doing so. I think I will be popping in daily, if only for a quick drink to unwind.

Great food and really friendly staff. Knocking it down by 1* because one of our orders was wrong but everything we got was really tasty. Definitely worth a visit. Dog friendly too which is a positive!
Went on Sunday for 3 course carvery to celebrate my birthday with several members of my family I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've had. Great service and delicious food. And the drink was good
Nice local pub, great pub food. Fast friendly service. Close to work and they allow us to order ahead so we can be in an out in our lunch hour. They also have a separate veggie and vegan menu, which is a good idea.

Definitely a lot better than when I first went in July 2022, back then I ordered the ribs. The ribs tasted like smoked mackerel, no word of a lie. Hadn’t returned until recently and it was much better! Granted I didn’t go anywhere near the same dish, instead opting for the fish and chips and my boyfriend ordered a chicken burger. It seems the things that are fried come out greasy more so the case with the chicken burger than my fish and chips but at the end of the day it was pretty cheap so you get what you pay for!
My family and I have been coming to this pub for years now. The service is consistently good and staff are warm and welcoming. It is also good value for money.
Skittle alley for a celebration was cold, no bar open so had to walk over icy cold car park. But good choice of beer and overall we enjoyed ourselves.
