Lovely food to a high standard, although we all found the food to be quite salty. Good price for the quality, would go again. Friendly staff who didn't rush us, was given no time limit (may be different on different nights) the 6 of us spent 3 hours there and didn't feel we needed to order quick and clear the table. Relaxed high quality dining experience.

So let's start with the hard part, the minus side. Why I gave this an average review: We came hear not really knowing much about the place other than that it has had good reviews. However we were four people and had four starters, my partner had the goat cheese and broccoli starter which was tiny. I mean especially compared to the other starter 's. We didn't complain though which is our fault. I just think that should be thought of as a whole. I believe even as a waitress/waiter you'd realise it's a bit awkward to serve out. Maybe worth mentioning when taking the order. As the mains came out it got better, food was good although again food portions vary as my salad was pretty small for the price. On the plus side: The homemade bread which was served before food was delicious! My carrot and coconut soup was an edgy choice but worked well together. Lovely little place in an upcoming Belper. The atmosphere is cute and quite romantic. Staff were attentive and very friendly. I hope this helps to improve this place as it has potential, but for me right now I feel it's a bit overpriced compared to what you expect.

Had a birthday meal here with 3 other friends! Food was excellent and staff super - Menu was different from the norm making this a must place to visit! Another great asset for Belper - thank you !

Lovely place, once again good food. Menu so interesting it's difficult to decide. Service with a smile and attentive without intrusion. If I was to be very, very, VERY picky ..... coffee for me was not hot enough but I suspect that's the machine. Can it be adjusted? Many thanks we had fabulous lunch.
