Service from staff not great at all, undertrained. Many mistakes with my food and over charging of bill. Staff not refilling drinks on top of that. Food proportions really small in the restaurant compared to take away and yet the prices are really high. We had 2 meals a cod meal and spicy burger meal plus 2 drinks and bear in mind the meals come with a small portion of chips it came to a total of £17.00 at first they tried to charge me £26 because they accidently bought us 3 meals. Shocking service and many other complaints by other customers whilst we were there. Table dirty, unsure whether you have to go to the counter to be servers as staff just stand around and don't approach to ask for your order. We was waiting 5 minutes for them to come over and in the end we just went up because we thought they wasn't going to server us, turns out they come to your table but I had to go up in order to get there attention to come take my order. There was a woman asking the same question 'do they come to us or do we go to them because I have waved at her and she is just ignoring me' Another customer asked to be moved because of dirty table

The best quality fish and chips I've found to date! Good prices, friendly staff and quick service. There is a small restaurant next door to the takeaway shop which offers the same excellent quality food and service. Facilities are clean and well kept. A limited number of free parking spaces are available for customers but one of the town's main central car parks is within 2 minutes walk. Recommended.

Had a lovely fish meal at Georges today, top class as always. We was served by a very friendly young waitress, a joy to talk to. Thank you, will visit again soon and collect more points on our cards.....
