Very quiet on a Tuesday night, but could imagine a very lively time at the weekend. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
Nice and roomy - plenty of space to watch the sports. Service was fast and reasonably priced! Great pint of GuinnessService: 5/5
Ordered a pint and a half of Moretti which came to £9. Gave the barperson a tenner. They automatically put my £1 change in the tip jar without my consent. I asked for it back. I normally tip but the staff member was surly.Service: 2/5
Worst experience ever. Went to order food and no tables outside had numbers on. Described which table we were sat at and ordered and at the end asked the server, who was called Ste, to check the table to which he responded with a huff and swore under his breath. His attitude was disgraceful the entire time and everything seemed like too much trouble. Slammed a card machine down in front of me to pay and walked off in a huff. Horrible service from start to finish. We demanded a refund and left. Spoke to a gent called David who was the complete opposite and very apologetic. Won’t be returning. But Ste needs to consider finding a job other than hospitality Maybe Cex or a non customer facing role
The food was really poor quality and barely edible. The fries looked and tasted as if they were days old. The burger was full of fat and devoid of flavour. Not worth the money at all.
The service is very poor. The staff need to learn how to smile and be friendly. The waiting time was a joke. The chunky chips looked burnt a were awful. We decided to order our desert before we finished our main and the waiting time for that was even longer. If just coming in for a drink, then great but I wouldn't recommend if wanting a decent meal
Foods a 5 cause it was amazing, the staff were 5 star friendly, an although your entertainment was 5 star my little boy dancing an vibing gives you an extra; so full marks +1 Kid-friendliness: My little boy was so happy here vibing an dancing an I told him to watch our for people carrying stuff but they just smiled as they dodged past
Lark Lane is becoming ever more gentrified. Not so with a couple holdouts, the Lodge being one of them. If you want a room with a few friends, and a choice of real ales and great lagers, this is the place.Great place to catch a match as well. With my wife ailing today I called in a a meat pie with the mushy peas and Mashers, and the takeaway really hit the spot. Solid and authentic food.
I was very impressed with the food in The Lodge Pub plus the staff where very friendly We will be going again for the Sunday DinnerFood: 5/5
We booked for Sunday Lunch to celebrate a birthday. The roast was delicious. We had 5 different vegetables on our plates, all freshly cooked. The service was excellent, with our order delivered promptly 11 family members including children and being hot. We also enjoyed sweets that were plentiful and tasty. Would certainly recommend this pub and we will be back. Thank you to the staff for adding candles to the birthday cake we provided.
