Lovely food, great service from friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.nAs a non-meat eater I sometimes feel like the veggie options are poorly thought out. Not so at The Little Angel! The veggie options were delicious, my favourite being the corn ribs.nAlso, the staff were exceptionally good with our dogs, which always goes down well.nWe’ll be back soon.
Not the best visit. Our waitress was lovely and the best part of the visit. However, the food let it down. At £19, the steak sandwich was awful. The ciabatta was rock hard and dry although the chips were good. Our choc fondant dessert didn’t arrive for half an hour despite twice asking for it. When it did, it was dry and stodgy. £80 for lunch I expect better
Plusses + attentive, friendly service for our party of 4, we had good 'light' good portion sized lunches based on starters and sides from the main menu + one main from the Bar menu and drinks. Minus - music too loud throughout the pub so we ate outside and got the music switched off in our area. Very minor quibble some plates / bowls a bit small, we should have asked for plates.
Made a reservation here for New Year’s Day and was very impressed with the food. Much fancier than we thought and very delicious. Not the cheapest but that was expected. A nice treat for a special occasion with some drinks.
Visited on a Wednesday night with a colleague and was warmly greeted by friendly staff who found us a table in the dining area. It wasn’t busy so service was prompt. The food was pretty good and I liked the posh spin on fish and chips, although portion size could have been a bit bigger. Overall pleasant experience here and would recommend.
