After a few days of occasionally going in at lunchtime to play pool, my friends and I were told that under 21s were no longer welcome, due to 'too many students' going in. It's a very lovely pub in all honestly, but realistically the couple of us that went there to play pool were usually the only people there, bar maybe one other person. We all made the conscious effort to each buy a drinks and food when we went in so we were still contributing to their business, and we were respectful at all times. It's all well and good just banning students, but if you're going to do that then why not tell us first if we were being unreasonable in anyway. (And no, we weren't hogging the table.) I'm extremely dissapointed. Oh and whilst I'm at it, they should learn to keep their rates the same, we may not have said anything because we were being polite, but we know we were overcharged by certain members of staff.

Awful staff, rushing my boyfriend and I out of the pub before the “regulars” came in. We were paying customers, that could have been regulars. But sorry, you just lost 2 very good customers
